King Mohammed VI, has made tourism his number one priority and launched the "Vision 2010" program, which is also backed by the UAE government. "Vision 2010" includes the building of 6 seaside five-star luxury resorts along the Mediterranean and Atlantic shores within the next 5 years. With these key developments and others, Morocco offers a unique opportunity for property investors to get involved early in what many are predicting will be exciting and profitable times ahead.

The billions of dollars being poured into initiatives are meant to reinforce every sector of the country. Included in this ambitious project is the development of infrastructure - with the construction of new highways, the increase of telecommunications, electricity, banking, insurances along with improvements in education and health care.

There is also a large variety in the kind of property available on the Moroccan real estate market. The Moroccan property market provides a great abundance of investments, making it easily available for all investor groups regardless of their budgetary constraints.

Many sources offer different views on what is expected to happen to the value of new Moroccan property in the newly constructed resorts. There are some differences in opinion as always but the one common factor is that prices are expected to rise and at a rate that will please investors. The growth rate has been quoted as being around 30% (Homes Overseas Magazine) but as a more conservative estimate of 15% is expected as being very achievable.
